Kick off Summer with a Buzzard's Roost Rye Smash!

Keep cool with this fresh and crisp Rye treat.




Ingredients

  • 2 Fresh mint leaves

  • 2 Lemon wedges

  • 3/4 oz Simple Syrup

  • 1 oz Club Soda

  • 1 1/2 oz Buzzard’s Roost Barrel Strength Rye

  • Garnish: mint sprig


Steps

  1. In a shaker, muddle the mint, lemon, simple syrup and soda.

  2. Add the rye and fill with ice.

  3. Shake, and strain into an Old Fashioned glass filled with fresh crushed ice.

  4. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
