Buzzard’s Roost Sippin’ Whiskey was victorious again at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. This is the second year in a row that we brought home gold from the event.
Buzzard’s Roost Toasted Barrel Rye took home top honors, winning Double Gold. With hints of pumpkin pie, crème brulee and toasted oak, it is no surprise that Toasted Barrel was received with high regard. Buzzard’s Roost Barrel Strength was awarded Gold. On the palate, Barrel Strength has rich notes of allspice, nutmeg and other baking spices, with a strong finish of fudge, tobacco and bright fruit.
Some of the best and brightest distilleries enter the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and Buzzard’s Roost is now a three-time award winner. Our first Gold medal was in 2020 for our Single Barrel Rye. We produce exceptional whiskeys through our carefully crafted and seasoned proprietary barrels. Our attention to detail and one-of-a-kind blending and aging processes are just a few of the reasons that these award-winning whiskeys are every bit a bourbon lover’s rye.
Currently available only in Kentucky and Massachusetts, but coming to more states this year.
