We are excited to announce the return of Buzzard’s Roost Cigar Rye Whiskey just in time for fall sipping and roosting!
Our Cigar Rye is created from four-year-old whiskey and is aged in our proprietary American Oak barrels. Prior to aging, our barrels are cold-smoked with aged Kentucky tobacco leaves. This unique barreling is known for its sweet, smoky aromas of a fine cigar with notes of florals and rye bread, followed by a light hint of smoke, cinnamon and brown sugar. The palate is a combination of sweetness and confectionery notes that fade mid-palate to citrus and cigar tobacco followed by a sweet and toasty finish. At 105 proof, Cigar Rye is great for enjoying straight, or over a single large whiskey rock.
